Caribbean has installed a record-breaking zip line at Lababee, its private
beach getaway in Haiti. Dubbed "Dragon's Flight", it stretches 4,000
feet and is billed as the "longest over water."
Riders reach speeds
of 40 to 50 miles per hour during the $65 experience.
It's located
near the area of the rock formation known as Dragon's Breath where you can
hear the sound of a dragon breathing as the waves force air through the holes
in the rocks. First, you practice on a short line then a truck takes you up the
mountain where you climb up a tower. Five people go at a time and you land near
the Dragon's Breath Bar.
